Congratulations
… to all the teams that participated in the State Championship in Jackson, MS.![]()
TOCC reinforced it’s position as one of the premier tennis facilities in the state as our teams excelled in the state championships in Jackson.
The ladies 2.5 team, captained by Beth McMakin & Vona Wawryszczuk, swept through their bracket before dropping a tough match in the finals. They placed 2nd in the state.
The men’s 3.0, captained by Chris Duke, lost a heartbreaking 10-8 tie breaker for the third set in the finals. They placed 2nd in the state.
The men’s 4.0 team, captained by Oliver Latil, went 3-1. They were just a few tie breakers away from the finals.
The 3.5 women, captained by Margaret Morgan, dropped a tough semi-final match.
All 4 TOCC teams were in the hunt for titles in their respective division on Sunday.

TOCC Junior Tennis Camp July 8, 9, 10
This camp is for juniors ages 7 to 16. The camp will consist of instruction, drill and playing points. Players will be grouped according to age & skill level. The public is invited. Cost $12 per day/members or $33 for 3 days/members. Non-members the cost is $13 per day or $36 for 3 days. Held from 9:00 to 11:00.

Having a Pool Party?
3. Completely fill out the pool party form. Be sure to include the names of the lifeguards and the expected number of guests (1 guard per 15 people). 4. Return completed form to Steve Pennington at the courthouse office.
Pool Hours Mon - Sat 10:00 to 6:00 Sun 12:00 to 6:00
After 6:00 children must be 16 or older or be accompanied by an adult.
TOCC Captain’s Meeting
July 8th at 6:45 in the courthouse. This is a mandatory meeting for those planning to captain a combo team in the fall. |

July 15-17 Kids can take one hour of instruction in both sports or just take part in one hour of either topic. Cost $12 per day or $8 per single hour of instruction. Members may invite a non-member (invitation only).

ADULT DOUBLES CAMP
Don’t miss your chance to sharpen your doubles game or learn how to work better with your partner. Camp will include doubles drill, (skill for doubles) and point situation finishing with a mini round robin. Partners are not mandatory but would be helpful. This camp is open to the public. Members will get first priority ….. so sign up today. Call Steve 875-0086.

If you missed the first day camp here is another opportunity to attend! You will have the choice of soccer, tennis, gym & art. Diane Nettles will be the gym instructor and Mary Ann Taylor will return as the art teacher. These instructors have been very popular in the past. Members only, but members may invite guests
