At our recent TOCC Awards Banquet our league coordinator, Betty Byars, presented TOCC with the U.S.T.A. Southern Sections USA League Tennis Outstanding Facility Award! Only 90 out of over 5,000 facilities in the south were nominated for this award. |

TOURNAMENT
RESULTS
Debra Shotlander and Ann Duke won the 2.5 doubles at the Cheryl High Realty Winter Classic at Gulf Coast Club.
Shari Pol and Margaret Morgan won the 3.5 doubles at the Mardi Gras Mombo at Tennis World in Diamondhead. In an all TOCC final, they edged Gina Kostal and Shelly Martin for the win.

MERCHANTS & MARINE BANK
NTRP CLASSIC
Merchants & Marine Bank will host the NTRP Classic on April 25-27. Over the years this tournament has earned a great reputation and we expect a great turn out.
The deadline to enter is Monday, April 21st. No phone entries will be accepted. Drop off or fax entries accepted. There will be a consolation event for all first match losers.

TOCC WILL BE HOSTING Ocean springs high school tennis matches again this year. This team is constructed mostly of tocc junior players. The team should be in contention for the district title this year. CAR CARE COMPANY JUNIOR TENNIS CLASSIC MARCH 8-9 The Car Care Company is once again sponsoring the Coast Junior Tennis Classic on March 8-9. Boys and girls 10,12,14,16 & 18 and under singles (only) will be offered. The deadline to enter is Tues. March 4th at 12:00 noon. Drop entries at the club or fax at 875-2829. This is a great chance for our local players to get tournament experience. Cost $28, includes t-shirt, pizza party (Sat.), and first round consolation.

EXPLOSION OF EXCELLENCE TENNIS FUND RAISER
Players sign up to play a qualifying tournament at TOCC at a specified level. The winner of our qualifying event will play the winner of the same level from Singing River Yacht Club. This season we host SRYC in the Explosion of Excellence final in April. The winning club claims the traveling trophy for 2003. Sign up at the club or call 875-0086
